Mrs. Summer Hassan, the current President of the Stroke Research and Education Foundation, brings a wealth of expertise to the scholarship initiative. Assuming the position of Chief Executive Officer in 2017, Mrs. Hassan, with a background as a software engineer, has held leadership and management roles in prominent organizations in Dubai. Her extensive experience spans Information Technology, Sales, Marketing Consulting, and Planning Performance. Complementing her professional background are her tertiary qualifications, which include a BA in Business Studies and a postgraduate degree in Network Engineering, adding depth to the scholarship’s mission.

Mrs. Summer Hassan’s consulting work over the past decade has primarily focused on management and finance consulting. Her active engagement in stroke causes and prevention motivated the establishment of the Stroke Research & Education Foundation, dedicated to supporting the local community in the Rio Grande Valley.
